On July 6th, 2023, shortly after hosting a launch in Leribe English Medium in Leribe, Enigma Academy paid a visit to the Skills & Soup program run by The Hub in Morija, Lesotho.

The Skills & Soup program is a bi-weekly initiative that provides 100 children and adolescents from Morija and surrounding communities with nutritious meals, life skills education, and after-school tutoring. The program aims to address food insecurity, support educational development, and lower the incidence of gender-based violence in the local area.

During our visit, we introduced Enigma Academy to the high school students of the Skills & Soup program. The platform offers digital educational learning materials and tools that complement the existing tutoring and life skills sessions delivered by The Hub.

By integrating Enigma Academy’s learning solutions into the Skills & Soup program, the organizers have an opportunity to further enhance the educational and developmental support provided to the young people of Morija. This collaboration has the potential to equip these students with valuable digital skills and knowledge, empowering them to reach their full potential.

The collaboration between Enigma Academy and The Hub’s Skills & Soup initiative demonstrates a commitment to leveraging technology and community-driven programs to create meaningful impact in the lives of underserved youth in Lesotho. This visit marked an exciting step forward in expanding the educational opportunities available to the participants of this impactful program.
